Schmidt Artists Events

Welcome to Schmidt Artist Lofts on West 7th Street. Our campus is a unique landmark on the Saint Paul skyline that touts 147 years of brewing history and a decade of artist occupation. The Brewhouse and Bottlehouse buildings were renovated and revitalized into a diverse artist community in 2013 with 247 residential units. The facility includes creative space for artists to thrive with studios for painting, ceramics, and music, as well as galleries and impressive common space for events and social gatherings. A group of residents serves on the Schmidt ARTS Committee to promote community through a variety of social events and to facilitate public art events, such as Art Crawl and Holiday Market.
