Sally Reid
I’m Sally Reid, a UKCP-registered psychotherapist, supervisor, and educator specialising in complex trauma and neurodiversity. I create inclusive, experiential trainings and workshops that blend creativity, embodiment, and theory to support professionals, parents, and carers in nurturing neurodiverse children and young people.
About Me
My background in body–mind psychotherapy, EMDR, and creative approaches to therapy has shaped my belief that healing and connection often begin beyond words. Over the years, I’ve supported children, young people, adults, and carers through experiences of trauma, anxiety, autism, ADHD, and other challenges.
Alongside my clinical practice, I’ve lectured and trained therapists in the UK and internationally, sharing embodied and creative ways of working that respect each person’s unique way of being in the world.
The Events I Host
I design and deliver inclusive, experiential workshops and professional trainings that bring together theory, creativity, and practice. My events are grounded in the belief that everyone - professionals, parents, carers, and community members - can play a vital role in supporting emotional wellbeing.
Each session explores creative and non-verbal approaches to connection and communication, often at the intersection of neurodiversity and trauma. Whether you are a therapist seeking to expand your toolkit or a parent looking for new ways to understand and support your child, my events offer practical, embodied strategies you can use with confidence and compassion.
My Mission
My mission is to equip people with confidence, creativity, and understanding to support children, young people, and families in ways that honour individuality and difference. I am passionate about creating affirming, inclusive spaces - in therapy, education, and community - where neurodiverse voices are understood, valued, and supported to thrive.
