Russian Center of SF
The Russian Center of San Francisco was founded in 1939 by Russian immigrants to preserve, celebrate, and exhibit the rich cultural heritage of the Russian and Slavic diaspora through community programs and events.
Our mission of preserving Russian-American and Slavic heritage and culture continues to this day. Our cultural center includes a museum and library, a bilingual pre-school, children's folk dance and theater classes, and annual festivals.
We welcome all individuals interested in Slavic and Russian culture and provide community building opportunities for Slavic-speaking immigrants. We strive to foster a deeper appreciation of Russian and Slavic heritage, history, language, arts and traditions to inspire future generations.
As a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we do not engage in, support, or take positions on any political matters.
