osloBIENNALEN

Conceived by Eva González-Sancho Bodero and Per Gunnar Eeg-Tverbakk, osloBIENNALEN FIRST EDITION is a new format for a biennial in public space: an evolving programme that unfolds over time across the city, inviting active participation with a public programme of artworks, workshops, readings, concerts, symposia, and performances. Initiated and financed by the City of Oslo, Agency for Cultural Affairs, Norway, osloBIENNALEN opened on 25 May 2019 and runs until 2021. The biennial is the result of OSLO PILOT, a two-year experimental and research-based project that laid the groundwork for the biennial.

osloBIENNALEN FØRSTE UTGAVE er initiert og utviklet av Eva González-Sancho Bodero og Per Gunnar Eeg-Tverbakk og representerer et nytt format for en kunstbiennale i det offentlige rom: et skiftende program som vil foregå over hele byen. Alle inviteres til aktiv medvirkning i et program med kunstverk, konserter, performancer, workshops og symposier. osloBIENNALEN er initiert av Oslo kommune Kulturetaten. Biennalen åpnet 25. mai 2019, og varer til 2021. Grunnlaget for biennalen ble lagt gjennom et toårig forskningsbasert prosjekt kalt OSLO PILOT.
