NSU MOVE

MOVE is an interdisciplinary group of creative thinkers and STEM and the Arts. Formed at Northwestern State University, we explore how ideas become motion. Integrating dance, science, visual art, technology, and related fields, MOVE operates through studio based research and is activated through public performance, workshops, and collaborative projects.

MOVE prioritizes process driven exploration, collective inquiry, and experimentation. Its work values investigation over outcome, allowing movement to emerge through collaboration, embodied research, and responsive decision making. This approach supports risk taking, adaptability, and shared authorship across disciplines and performance contexts.

The goal of MOVE is to position movement as an evolving practice that responds to environment, collaboration, and collective experience.
