Hispanic Scholars Program
Founded in 1989, the Hispanic Scholars Program is uniquely situated at the intersection of Latine/Hispanic community, culture and history and religious studies and theological education. Through our programming in Education, Mentorship, Professional Development, and Public Scholarship, we aim to center Latine/Hispanic perspectives in higher education, theological education, and the communities led by our alumni. In our 35+ year history, the Hispanic Scholars Program has taught over 2,000 students, provided training for 150+ non-Latine/Hispanic faculty and administrators, and supported the development of countless Latine/Hispanic students, faculty, administrators, and clergy as well as community organizers, philanthropic leaders, artists, and activists. We have significantly expanded the curricular offerings at seminaries and universities across the country through our accredited courses and programs.
