Gordon Institute for Advanced Study

For over fifty years, the Edmund W. Gordon Institute for Advanced Study at Teachers College, Columbia University (formerly IUME) has used advocacy, demonstration, evaluation, information dissemination, research and technical assistance to study and seek to improve the quality of life chances of communities of color through education in urban contexts. The Gordon Institute is committed to critically examining and reshaping the lives and education of socially precarious and racialized populations.
