Foundations Entrepreneur Development Company

Foundations Entrepreneur Development Company was originally formed in 2017 as North Texas Entrepreneur Education and Training Center, LLC as the first for-profit business service organization in the Dallas/Fort Worth area with a distinct focus on entrepreneur education. North Texas Entrepreneur Education and Training Center (NTEETC) was created to be an initial starting point for aspiring Entrepreneurs to be able to come, ask questions, start a process, and ultimately make a decision as to whether Entrepreneurship is right for them. The initial rendering of our services and programs included a 6-month program that walked individuals through a thorough process of entrepreneurial engagement with twelve weeks focused on education and twelve weeks focused on implementation. In the early stages of this program, participants paid a fee to enroll in this program and received a certificate of completion upon successfully completing the program. The goals/outcomes of the program at that time where for the participants to determine the following: How to move forward in their business venture, If entrepreneurship is the right path for them or How could they be impactful to those currently in entrepreneurship. With this structure, we graduated 3 successful cohorts with one being the initial free beta group that provided us our program benchmarks. After such time, the effects of COVID 19 occurred which caused us to have to restructure the nature of our program in an effort to stay operational.

In late 2020, we established a partnership with TWU-Center for Women Entrepreneurs as the prime provider of technical assistance for those impacted by the pandemic. Our focus was to provide entrepreneur focused training to those seeking funding and business plan development. After this initial partnership, we went on to obtain an exclusive partnership with said organization to facilitate the statewide initiative, Women Entrepreneurs Leadership Forum, which recently graduated its 3rd cohort of 15 female entrepreneurs November 2023.

Since 2020, we have served as a programming partner to several organizations, entities and communities, taking our reach from the Dallas/ Fort Worth area to across the global to including India and St. Lucia. With the growth incurred over the last 3 years, we made the formal decision in June of 2023 to rebrand the company from North Texas Entrepreneur Education and Training, LLC to Foundations EDC (Entrepreneur Development Company) to aid us in capsulating the impact of our work and the niche market we aim to serve.
