Else Borges Foundation for Arts Initiatives

The Else Borges Foundation for Arts Initiatives is a Pennsylvania non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, founded by violinist Odin Rathnam in loving memory of his late mother, and is dedicated to making discretionary grants to cornerstones of the Greater Harrisburg and Central Pennsylvania arts diaspora for specific projects that are deemed daring, ambitious and capable of bringing national and international recognition to the quality of the creative arts in Central Pennsylvania.

In addition, the Foundation works in cooperation with corporations and other non-profits to raise discretionary grants and scholarships nationally, to be disbursed for qualifying musical training programs.

It is the hope of the Foundation, to raise funds for the arts in Central PA as well as support the other worthy charities that are partnering with us during a series of three upcoming concerts at The Forum in Harrisburg, PA.  The local charities partnering with the Else Borges Foundation include the Cultural Enrichment Fund, Harrisburg Habitat For Humanity, and the World Surgical Foundation.  Profit from each concert will be split 50/50 between the charities presenting each concert.
