Cockney Cultures bring you the Modern Cockney Festival 2023 with a host of in-person and online events to celebrate all things Cockney!

In 2022 Cockney Cultures held 6 online discussions as part of Cockney Conversations Month.

Cockney Cultures is a new initiative by Andy Green of Grow Social Capital CIC and Saif Osmani of the Bengali East End Heritage Society who feel that Cockney culture is ‘under threat’ due to immense physical, social and cultural changes taking place in the East End. Together, Andy and Saif have collaborated to come up with a programme led through historic research, training, and public events that they hope will help restore and celebrate this unique language, culture and heritage of East London.
