Bridget Ndanga
Bridget Ndanga is a Zimbabwean-born composer, songwriter, singer, and recording gospel artist, currently based in the UK.
With an unwavering passion for music and praise and worship, she has established herself as a versatile artist with a knack for creating impactful melodies.
Bridget's musical journey began at the tender age of 10 when she joined her primary school choir. She quickly caught the attention of her music teacher, who saw her potential and gave her a place in the senior choir despite being a junior. Being born to religious parents, Bridget was a member of the church's praise and worship team from an early age, where she also participated in dance and tambourine performances. As a youngster, she was part of a singing group called Sisters with Voices in Christ, alongside two other girls. Later on, she joined a girl gospel group called Harmony Sisters, and as an adult, she worked with renowned gospel artist Heavens Mutambira as a backing vocalist. To date she has collaborated with renowned gospel artist Minister Michael Mahendere and Tembalami.
Apart from her music career, Bridget is an entrepreneur, nurse, wife, and mother. She is also part of the praise and worship team in her local church, and a Deacon in the church. Bridget has a passion for the youth, and she devotes her time to mentoring them on life choices. She also has a passion in the ministry of helps and has done charitable works reaching out to the needy. As a devout Christian, she's an active member of Forward in Faith Ministries International, where she was blessed by ArchBishop Guti in August 2018.
Bridget draws inspiration from Galatians 2:20 (New International Version NIV), which reads, "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."
