BLACK EDUCATORS COMMITTEE, INC.

Black Educators Committee, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) organization, was formed by educators in 1968 as an answer to turbulent times confronting our communities and our schools. Fifty-four years later, the vision to foster and improve community relationships, engage in educational and empowering community service projects and activities, and to provide deserving high school seniors with scholarships to assist in their pursuit of higher education has not changed.
