April's Classroom
April’s Classroom is an arts-based educational initiative dedicated to expanding access to education through culture, storytelling, and creative practices in rural and remote communities across South America.
Grounded in the belief that access to culture and the arts is a fundamental right, the project uses storytelling, visual arts, and community engagement to highlight educational inequalities while proposing art as a meaningful pathway toward more inclusive and culturally grounded education systems.
Through interactive events, workshops, and collaborations with educators, artists, and community organizations, April’s Classroom creates spaces where learning is nurtured through curiosity, creativity, and dialogue. At its core, the initiative centers children’s voices and questions, recognizing them as essential to understanding and reimagining education in contexts where resources are limited.
April’s Classroom works at the intersection of education, cultural rights, and social impact, fostering connection between communities, creators, and institutions committed to equitable and human-centered learning
