Amy Lam

Hi, I am Amy and I started paper weaving back in November 2019, right before the pandemic. At the time, it was my way of documenting and showing support for Hong Kong’s democracy movement. It was only meant to last a year, but it became a really meaningful outlet for me.

Fast forward to November 2024, I picked it back up again and reopened my Etsy shop. Today, paper weaving is my way of expressing the things I love: pop culture, anime, games, movies, and TV shows. I also like pushing myself to design more detailed and complex characters.

Through my work, I hope more people can experience this art form — and maybe find a little joy in it, the same way I do.
