When disaster strikes, family pets can become victims too. It is estimated that over 40,000 pets die in fires each year from smoke asphyxiation. Air For Paws is dedicated to providing special resuscitation kits and training to first responders including
- Fire and rescue personnel to save family pets during house fires and other disasters
- Police and military working dog teams as they do amazing work in law enforcement and protection
- Dogs, cats, horses, birds, hamsters and even a fawn have been given another chance at life.
Over 1600 kits have been donated free of charge across 39 states and 4 countries.
