The next great leap in civilization is Machine Intelligence—but not just “machine learning” in its popular use today. Rather, this is actual machine intelligence (i.e., a machine that has inherent human-analogous intelligence). The AGI Laboratory is focused on actual machine intelligence systems including collective intelligence systems and artificial general intelligence (AGI) research.
