Hi there! I'm Meredith, the baker and owner behind Sound Baking. Custom decorated sugar cookies are my specialty, but there are very few things out there that I don't love to bake!
Sound Baking Cookie Classes:
In 2023, we started offering sugar cookie decorating classes geared towards beginners and fun for everyone! All you have to do is show up - the cookies, icing, and tools of the trade will be provided to you, along with 2 hours of guided instruction and decorating time. Cookie class is so much fun, and you go home with your very own set of six beautiful cookies!

Sound Baking is a cottage food operation serving the local Orlando, Florida area and shipping nationally. What is a cottage food operation, you may ask? Essentially, it's a home food business - Florida cottage law allows me to bake and sell cookies from my home, instead of producing my cookies in a commercial kitchen. Cottage law supports small-scale food businesses like mine, and gives me the opportunity to run a small business while still ensuring basic food safety standards are met. I hold an active Food Handler certificate (the same that is required to work in any commercial kitchen) so don't worry - your cookies are safe with me!
