Join us for a day filled with discussions, networking opportunities, and insights into Your Local Pantry. We welcome you to come, share your experiences and be part of the movement to fight food insecurity in Merseyside. Don't miss out on this chance to build your local connections and make a difference in your community.


Workshops include:

Lets end Poverty & Speaking Truth to Power – Felicity Guite & Pete Duberly

Learn how to join the movement to end poverty through Let's End Poverty and the Speaking Truth to Power program. These projects seeks to enable groups and grassrouts to challenge poverty at a local level. Come along to learn what support you could get to empower your members to create change they'd like to see in their communities.


Members Only Session - James Henderson

Join a members only conversation where we will take a look at the impact of Pantries and celebrate what makes them special. Together, we will explore the following questions: What's good about your Pantry? What could be better? What would make your pantries the very best that they could be?


Food Sourcing with Fareshare - Ann Dobie

In this session, we will discuss the challenges of sourcing surplus food in the charitable sector with insighjts about how to make the most of the opportunities we have to garner more of the areas excess food and offer more to our members.


Wrap around Support Market Place - Lee

In this session, you will be introduce to several local agencies and charities and what they can do to make a difference to you, your members and your Pantries and will then give you the opportunity to accept their help at your Pantry.


A Pantry in your Place? -Jen Sissons

An introduction to the Your Local Pantry Model. Learn what Your Local Pantry is all about, how members save up to £20 per a week, and how they provide so much more than food. You will also learn how communities benefit from having a Pantry along with what support is avalable to help you set up a pantry in your area.
