Yin Yoga is a slower form of yoga for all levels and abilities. Each pose is practiced in a lying or seated position and held for 3-5 minutes. The aim of Yin Yoga is to slow down, turn your focus inwards and target your joints and connective tissue (fascia). Yin also has a big focus on the emotional body, helping you to relax the mind, create more balance and move any stagnant or stuck energy and emotions. Yin Yoga is more meditative and restorative, focusing on cultivating mindfulness, stimulating the flow of energy in the body and relaxing the spirit.
Instructions
Please arrive in comfortable clothing, - yoga pants, or leggings are preferred. Stay warm with a jumper and feel free to bring a blanket too!
Please ensure you arrive 5 minutes early, the door is locked at 8pm, so you wont be able to enter after this time.
Car parking is free on Norman Road. Greenwich DRL station is less than 5 mins away.
