About this event

Welcome to the Women's Tea Ceremony in Edinburgh!

Come join us for a delightful afternoon at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh where we will gather for a traditional tea ceremony. This event is a wonderful opportunity for women to connect, relax, and enjoy the beauty of nature.

From 20 May to 13 June, join me in person to experience Tea in ceremony to harmonise within and without, mother nature and your true nature.

For centuries, Zen monks, taoists and shamans have relied on the Tea Spirit for their healing abilities and ancient wisdom. This is a practice that has been left in the dust of the past as Tea began to be grown and sold as a commodity. In this ritual Tea is honoured as plant medicine and Spirit, guiding us to turn inward and reconnect to our hearts, through Nature, through love and gratitude for the simple moments in life.

From tea lovers to non-tea drinkers, from those who are familiar with the dance of meditation to those restless ones who fear the silence of the mind, tea ceremony will allow you to drop from your head into your heart, often times in the most unexpected ways.

Come into stillness and revel in the beauty of ceremonial-grade Tea.

This is Tea from indigenous origin, usually ancient wild tea trees from China that are agrochemical-free, and handcrafted by skilled artisans endowed with centuries of family secret crafting techniques.

Tea is prepared with a ritual to be served in reverent silence. There will be space to share after the ceremony has ended.

Spots are limited to 8 only to keep the space intimate and sacred.

Exact location will be shared once ticket is purchased.

When Still Waters Speak is founded upon the spirit of reuniting luxury and sacred as one through the Living Art of Cha Dao as a way of living - this spirit permeates all that cultivates stillness to enrich the soul and unveil the wholeness of a multidimensional woman. When it comes to creating a most fulfilling life, it is not about the “how” - but the “what” that you embody.

Her work has been featured in Holistic Scotland, Harper’s BAZAAR, The Sun Daily, Creativemornings Edinburgh and MYND, as well as various podcasts. A former Beauty Editor of Harper’s BAZAAR and Senior Digital Content Manager at South China Morning Post, her life has always been governed by her passion for poetry, luxury, and beauty, all of which informs and influences the ceremonial spaces where she now creates and guides others to their greatest transformation and ownership of their creatorship.
