Welcome to Wildling Woodland Yoga! Join us for a rejuvenating yoga session surrounded by the serene beauty of nature at James Cooke Wood. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner, this experience is perfect for anyone looking to enjoy the peaceful energy of the woods. Important Information:

  • Parking at James Cooke Wood is very limited, if booking with a friend please travel together if possible.
  • Please meet us at 10am by the gate in the car park and NO LATER. We will need to do a headcount, safety briefing and waiver form before we head into the woods. Unfortunately due to the limited time we have available within the woodlands (we pay to hire this space per hour), we cannot wait for people to arrive and will have to leave and go on ahead without them.
  • James Cooke Wood is a public space. Although we have a permit and have paid to use the location it is not solely ours to use and we may come across other members of public, including dog walkers. All woodland rules still apply.
  • Please bring a yoga mat, we will only be walking a short distance from the car park to our location so, don't worry about carrying it. Bring a drink of water and a towel if you feel you may need one. We will have a spare yoga mat and some blocks if people need them.
  • The yoga session itself will be a 40 minute vinyasa flow and 10 minute relaxation and meditation session. We will open the practice with some breathing techniques, then warm up our body with some rounds of sun salutations, adding in some asana flows before we come down to the mat to unwind and relax. This class is ideal for all as it can be tailored to individual abilities.
  • In the very unlikely scenario that we have extreme weather for this event (storms/torrential rain/highwinds), all tickets will be refunded. We will NOT cancel this event if it's slightly drizzling or there are showers, as we will be under the natural cover of the trees and a bit of rain never hurt anybody.
