Foraging Day
Welcome to Horburys wild spaces for an exciting day of exploring nature's bounty! Join us for a hands-on experience where you'll learn about different plants, mushrooms and trees that you can find right in your own backyard. I will take you on a journey through the riverside, woodlands and meadows, teaching you how to identify edible and medicinal treasures and sharing tips on safe and sustainable foraging practices. I will also bring along some wild foraged baked treats for you to sample. Whether you're a seasoned forager or a curious beginner, this event is perfect for anyone looking to connect with the great outdoors and discover the delicious flavours of wild foods. Bring along your foraging baskets, your children are welcome to join us at no extra cost, and friendly dogs are welcome too.
