BACKGROUND

Whisky & Witches began in 2022 and in the short time they have existed, have done 18 shows, with sold out events in Scotland, Ireland and Denmark. Having collaborated with major business and sponsors from the whisky industry, they have performed at Fèis ìle, Belfast Whiskey Week, Edinburgh Festival Fringe and done a tour of Denmark.

W&W is a collaboration between Danish singer, composer and Whisky Experience Ambassador Christine Kammerer and whisky aficionado Jane Ross, owner of the whisky bar: The Mother Superior Bar in Edinburgh.

Jane Ross has been in the whisky industry for over 13 years, and before she opened her own bar, she was the manager of the Black Cat for years.

She is now owner and CEO of The Mother Superior Bar in Edinburgh, which – with it 250 bottles of whisky on the shelf from all over the world, and monthly exciting whisky events – has quickly become one of the whisky hotspots in Edinburgh.

Christine Kammerer is a whisky ambassador, internationally known singer, multi-instrumentalist and composer and a graduate from OurWhisky Foundation Mentorship Programme. She has released 2 EP's, 3 singles and a music video "Raven Brings Runes". In 2021 Kammerer’s song “Eversong” was among the finalists in World Songwriting Awards. Kammerer is currently recording her debut album.
