Wellbeing and writing retreats aim to help PhD students to stay concentrated, productive, and motivated in studying, while at the same time to support each other, stimulate new ideas and build collaborations.

Number of participants per session: up to 24.


Venue: Room 4.14, Waterloo Bridge Wing, SE1 9NH


Method: Pomodoro technique, participants come and synchronise for their writing and social time and timing.

Healthy snacks, fresh fruit and drink will be provided on site.

Can I join the event for just half day?

The session will last for 8 hours, but please feel free to join for 1-2 hours to boost your writing!

Where will be the retreats

The venue would alternate between Strand, Waterloo and Denmark Hill Campus. Please check before you book the ticket.

When will be the sessions

Currently we plan to run the retreats every fortnightly, alternating between weekday and weekend.
