What is a Women's Walk and Talk?

Women and girls volunteer to go for a walk and talk with a female police officer who works in their local area. During the walk and talk, the focus of the discussion is on women’s safety issues. However, the talk is very informal and can be anything you would like to ask the officer.

How do I take part in a Walk and Talk?

The Balham Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team have created an event on Eventbrite where you can sign up for a free ticket to book your place.

Who can attend this event?

Any female (or someone who identifies as female) who lives or works locally to Balham is welcome to attend the event.

Who are the Balham Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team (SNT)?

The Balham SNT is a team made up of police officers and staff based at Lavender Hill Police Station. Our job is to get to know our community and carry out engagement events. We work to prevent crime and resolve local community issues.
