========================================================================

We’re excited to invite you to another of our popular 2-day workshops exploring approaches to conflict informed by the values of transformative justice, collective care and anti oppression.

When conflict arises in our organising spaces, many of us struggle to put the transformative principles and values we hold into practice. This impacts our relationships in and with these spaces and creates more challenges to the already challenging work we came together to do. Resist + Renew has been developing some tools and activities to facilitate learning for people organising for social justice to feel more equipped to engage with conflict in their groups. We would love for you and/or others from your group to join us!

If you are the kind of person who is keen to:

  • Explore why we want to address conflict in our groups and interpersonally
  • Develop your understanding of the different reactions people can have to conflict (e.g. stress responses)
  • Learn some tools and frames to understand conflict when it happens
  • Build your confidence to engage with conflict through experiential practice

…We think you might like this workshop!

Details:

When: 11th & 12th May 2024 (10.30 - 5pm both days)

Where: Pelican House, 144 Cambridge Heath Road, Bethnal Green, London E1 5QJ
