Parke Arts & Drama Group is delighted to be bringing this wonderful, heartfelt, funny play to the beautiful surrounds of The National Museum of Ireland - Country Life, Turlough Park. The Park Bench is a gentle comedy, both humorous and engaging. It looks at miscommunication and misunderstanding and uses some wonderful play on words to highlight these issues. The story is centred around Charles, who used to share the same park bench with his wife. When he mislays something important, new people enter his life, and his world opens up once again.
So, if you are looking for some light-hearted comedy on a Summer’s afternoon, in a beautiful outdoor setting, then come along on June 9th.
PLEASE NOTE: As this is an outdoor performance, seating will be informal. Feel free to bring rugs, cushions, etc to create a picnic atmosphere. Please dress according to the weather. The performance may move indoors depending on weather on the day.
