Sir Ian is a seasoned leader with notable roles, including Chair of Land Securities plc, Chairman of Channel 4, and Chair of Spire Healthcare Group Plc. His past positions include Chair of BT, Debenhams and Barclays Bank UK, as well as CEO of Kingfisher plc and B&Q. Sir Ian's impactful contributions extend to various sectors, earning him a knighthood in the 2014 New Year Honours for services to Business, Sustainability, and the Environment. He is also a Chevalier of the Ordre National du Merite in France.
