Let’s celebrate the launch of Hybrid Strength Project — a new training challenge for women in Bristol who want to build strength, learn calisthenics skills, and have FUN doing it.

This is a relaxed, inclusive park session for all fitness levels. Expect movement, games, connection, maybe a few surprise challenges — and definitely cake.

Whether you’ve been to loads of BGG events or this is your first one, you’re so welcome.

What to expect:

  • A casual strength & bodyweight movement session
  • Tips on calisthenics & strength training (no experience needed!)
  • Hands-on coaching and fun challenges (optional!)
  • Space to connect with other women in the community
  • Info on how to join the upcoming Hybrid Strength Project
  • Cake and q&a session after

Who it’s for:
Bristol-based women and those who identify as non-binary who want to train with intention, grow their confidence, and connect with others in a supportive, no-pressure environment. All levels welcome.

What to bring:

  • Trainers
  • Water
  • A secure bag for your belongings

If you're interested in the Hybrid Strength Project (6-week online training challenge), this is a great way to meet your coaches, community, ask questions, and get a feel for the vibe!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to sign up for the Hybrid Strength Project to come?

Nope! This event is open to anyone who’s curious about the challenge, wants to move, or just fancies connecting with the community. No pressure to join — just come and see what it’s about.

Do I need experience with calisthenics or lifting?

Not at all. Everything will be beginner-friendly and adaptable. You don’t need to be able to do a pull-up (yet!) — just come with an open mind and a willingness to try.

I don’t know anyone — can I still come?

Absolutely! Loads of people come to BGG events solo. We’ll make sure it’s welcoming and easy to join in — whether you’re super social or prefer to hang back and just observe.

What if it rains?

We have a backup plan and venue. If the weather’s really bad, we’ll message all attendees with an updated plan — so keep an eye on your inbox and Instagram.

Do I have to take part in everything?

Nope. Nothing is compulsory — you can join in as much or as little as you like. It’s all about moving your body in a way that feels good and connecting with others at your own pace.
