About this event
A family-friendly outdoor (all weather!) event where we come together to eat, hear Christian stories around a fire pit, sing and pray. Great for those at the beginning of their faith journey and those wanting to make new connections and friendships in an alternative church setting. There's food for everyone and it's free. Children participate in all aspects of the Feast including setting up, cooking, leading worship and washing up. Please dress for the weather, and as we enter darker months please bring a head-torch/ similar if you can.
Frequently asked questions
Yes! There is a carpark to he front of the school and on street parking available in the adjacent street.
All food is free, vegetarian, locally and ethically sourced, cooked on site by our own church members, and is totally delicious. There are always at least two options and a full food allergy sheet is available. If you are vegan let us know.
The Thursday before the event so we can make sure there's enough seats and food.
Yes! They are key members of this community. There's lots to explore, plenty of space for them to roam, including quieter spaces for those not keen on crowds, and there are lots of opportunities for them to contribute, learn and feel loved. Our adults also expect to learn from them.
No. ALL people of any faiths or none are welcome at the Feast. Our leadership and many of our members are committed Christians, but some just beginning to explore while others are just here for the community and food and all of that is fine. Join in with what you feel comfortable. No judgement here.
Please dress for the weather! We're heading into colder months now so please wrap up. Also please bring a torch or head torch so you can depart from the site safely in the dark.
There are some grassy slopes which can be slippery when wet and unfortunately the site has no disabled access. There's a sports field to walk across which is fine for prams/pushchairs.
