There’s a lot to be proud of if you come from Wigan and our roots in our communities run deep!
The Snug are famous in Wigan for our live events, and we’ve built a solid reputation for bringing visitors from outside of the Atherton area.
In collaboration with Wigan Council and the UK Government we are proud to present to you this ground-breaking pilot project supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) named “The Early Doors Club”.
The Early Doors (TED) Clubs are ‘after-work’ live performances on a Friday starting on [date] with 4 local venues banging the drum for Wigan, The Snug in Atherton, St Georges Church in Tyldesley, The Coffee Shop in Leigh and The Hideout in Wigan.
Together we want to encourage more people to explore independent venues, that way we can continue to invest in our grassroots communities and celebrate our cultural heritage one riff at a time!
Starting as we mean to go on, all our musicians and artists are paid! No more singing for your supper on our watch ;)
