About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

The Creative Book Club is a book club for those with creative tendencies of all kinds, held at Milk Bar. The group meets every 6 weeks to discuss a book but also if the themes influenced our creativity in any way.

Tickets are limited so please pre-book.

All profits from tickets are donated to a charity that the group choose each meeting.

There is a donation button if you wish to make an additional donation to the charity chosen by the group. You are also welcome to donate to Jelly if you wish too but please don't feel any obligation to donate at all.

As part of the Book Club the Milk Team design a cocktail inspired by themes and flavours in the book, there is an option to buy this or a drink of your choosing direct from Milk on the evening if you would like.

28 May - Pure Colour by Sheils Heti

Pure Colour tells the story of a life, from beginning to end. It is a galaxy of a novel: explosive, celestially bright, huge, and streaked with beauty. It is a contemporary bible, an atlas of feeling, and a shape-shifting epic. Sheila Heti is a philosopher of modern experience, and she has reimagined what a book can hold.

Follow @thecreativebookclub on Instagram for updates and share your book inspired snaps with the group by tagging them in
