About this event

  • 4 hours

Tell my Story: Of Healing, Resilience & Reconciliation is a special event showcasing the power of multi-cultural poetry, songs, and stories. The event is hosted collaboratively by Palewell Press, Qisetna and Rawanee.

Rawanee poets (of British Pakistani & Pakistani origin) will be performing a poetry based narrative theatrical reading at the event, written exclusively for the event. Some will join us in person from the UK, others online from locations across the world.

The event will also include other poetry recitations, poetry and song videos, and conversations. Palewell Press and Qisetna work with Middle Eastern and other communities, and will be representing the same.

The event will be run mostly in English, with some use of Arabic and Hindi / Urdu, also translated into English to aid the audience along.

Please join us at the Victoria Library for an evening filled with inspiration and connection. Come and listen to diverse voices sharing their experiences of healing, resilience, and reconciliation through poetry based storytelling & conversation. This event is a celebration of unity and understanding, for different cultures come together to share their perspectives.

Don't miss this opportunity to be moved and inspired by the stories of others. See you there!
