About this event

  • 7 hours

Welcome to the Surrey Poetry Festival 2024!

Join us at ZERO Carbon Guildford for a series of readings, workshops, and a independent press book fair.

This festival has been organised by Briony Hughes, Poet in Residence at the University of Surrey.

The theme of this year's festival is ecopoety and sustainability. We will be addressing the crucial question: what role can writing play in a climate altered future?

Featured poets include Susie Campbell, Cat Chong, Suzannah V Evans and more. We will be joined by a range of independent presses, such as Osmosis Press, Veer Books, Artery Editions, Nine Pens Press, and Black Sun Flowers Press. Watch this space for the full schedule - additional events to be added.
