Questioning lies at the heart of effective classroom practice. It can allow us to gain valuable information about student knowledge, elicit misconceptions, build understanding and improve engagement. However, it isn't easy to get right, and in many cases we can struggle to get into a good flow with our questioning.
This session is designed for teachers who already have a good understanding of Cold Calling, Participation Ratio and Think Ratio, and will look at advanced questioning strategies like:
