What do I experience during the 4-day internship programme?

The internship is designed as a real-case product and service development simulation program, where participants will assume the role of real consultants at Designventure Consultancy. Their clients will seek assistance from participants in designing products and services tailored to their customer's needs and preferences.

With the assistance of our experienced facilitators, participants will have a chance to conduct product and service design with the use of the Design Thinking method to enhance consumer experiences and Behavioural Science to promote the product and services to potential consumers.
Participants will also have the privilege of receiving one-on-one mentoring from our experienced mentor, who will communicate their needs and provide motivation to maximize their potential during the workshop.

What are the expected outcomes?
Our activities are designed not only to give them an insight into what it is like working in a rapidly changing industry and responding to environmental and social needs but also to empower them and build their confidence for career success.

What will the participant gain on successful completion?
Upon successful completion of the programme, participants will be awarded a certificate of attendance. This certificate serves as recognition of their commitment and achievement throughout the program.

Who will be eligible for the event?
The workshops are for students aged 15 to 18. No prior knowledge or experience is required.

Terms and conditions

• Tickets for participants under the age of 18 must be booked by a parent or guardian and advance online registration is essential. Bookings made on behalf of someone else still require advance online registration and it is your responsibility to share the registration form with that person. If we do not receive full registration information in advance of the event we cannot allow the participant to attend.
• We can offer a full refund up to 30 days in advance of the event's start date. Thereafter, we cannot offer a refund or transfer. Cancellations must be made in writing to info@designventure.org
• We reserve the right to alter the advertised content of events. In the unlikely event we need to cancel we will contact all ticket holders as soon as possible to rearrange or offer a full refund. We cannot reimburse or compensate for travel or other associated costs.
• Photographs taken during the event may be used for marketing purposes. By attending the event, participants consent to the use of their likeness in promotional materials, including but not limited to, social media posts, website content, and promotional materials. If you have any concerns about the use of photographs, please inform the event organizers in advance.
• On entry to the event, participants agree to behave appropriately; the Designventure Academy reserves the right to remove participants who behave inappropriately from events and request their immediate collection by parents/guardians.
