Stage 1 Regional Anaesthesia Training Day - Grange University Hospital

This course is aimed at CT1-3 Anaesthetic trainees, who have finished their first six months of anaesthetics and have completed their EPA 1&2/IAC

The course includes:

• Pre-Course reading list covering the RCoAs suggested areas of knowledge for Stage 1 HALO
• Pre-Course online test to allow candidates to demonstrate competence in background knowledge
• Practical sessions introducing basic ultrasound skills to candidates including image and needle optimisation, and recognition of sonoanatomy
• Coaching during the performance of sham blocks using the Needletrainer ultrasound tool
• A post course certificate to upload to the RCoA eportfolio to help with module sign off
