About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours 30 minutes

Architectural Logics for Emerging Contexts (ALEC) is a research line from the La Salle Campus Barcelona-URL. With the Social Transformation for an Inclusive Architecture seminar, the ALEC team seeks to investigate the dynamic interplay between architecture and social transformation, emphasizing the role of design in fostering inclusive environments that address the needs of the most vulnerable and embrace all segments of society. It highlights the necessity of integrating social change as a core consideration in design processes, while advocating for flexibility in architectural practices to ensure that spaces adapt to communities. The seminar aspires to initiate a dialogue on how architecture, in its broadest sense, can serve as a transformative tool, creating spaces that reflect and support the evolving social dynamics of our time.
