About Tuition:

I am a qualified science teacher and have specialised in affordable effective small-group online tuition since 2019. Lessons are £15 each, 1 hour long and hosted on GoogleMeet. I provide a free video consultation for parents and students to introduce myself, discuss any concerns, assess learning styles, and establish a study plan. Also, the first lesson is half price so you can try tuition at a discounted price!

The group lessons are structured in the following:

- Our lessons begin with a warm-up retrieval practice task, which helps students retrieve and reinforce past information. This task involves a weekly recap of keywords and content from all topics and is designed to boost memory retention.

- Next, we move on to the focus topic. I use diagrams and an e-pen to annotate the content and bring the lesson to life. Live examples are particularly effective for math-style questions, and students are encouraged to ask questions and take notes throughout.

- Finally, we finish with an interactive task and/or exam questions that serve to consolidate learning. This allows students to see the type of questions that are asked on this topic and provides an opportunity to practice exam techniques to maximise marks.
