What age do I need to be to come to Skillsfest

Accepted Answer

We've built the content to work from Year 9 up to Year 13.   You must be 16 on the day of the event to attend without an adult present with you

Will there be chance to learn about careers at Lloyds

Accepted Answer

Absolutely and before and after the event we will have experts from our early careers team, apprentices and grads available for you to talk to and get those questions answered?

How does the event itself work?

Accepted Answer

We've designed three different experiences.   When you come in we'll allocate you to a group which will determine which order you'll have those experiences but everyone will get to try everything

Question 4

If I'm coming as the parent what am I expected to do?

Accepted Answer

We encourage parents to join in each of the challenges, it's the best way to learn what we do and help you learn more about Lloyds Banking Group, our culture and values

What if I have access requirements?

Accepted Answer

The event is fully wheelchair accessible as you'd expect and there is a Changing Places room on site.  You're very welcome to check needs with us, just drop us a line skillsbuilder@lloydsbanking.com

Question 6

What about parking and catering?

Accepted Answer

We're about five minutes walk from major bus stops, 15 minutes stroll along the harbour from Temple Meads and there is paid parking around the harbour area.   Water will always be available and if you need snacks or a caffeine fix there are many locations around the office to choose from

Question 7

What about smoking and vaping?

Accepted Answer

This is not permitted inside our buildings or at the sides of our buildings where there are air intakes.

What if I'm delayed on the day?

Accepted Answer

The event is split into three separate experiences so if you're running late don't worry, you may just get to experience two of those three and our hosts can discuss with you which are highest priority for you to experience
