Due to liquor licensing laws, wine payment and collection can only occur on our nominated collection date of Sunday 14 July - if you are not able to attend on this date, please arrange for a proxy to pay and collect on your behalf.

The Scuba Divers Federation of South Australia celebrated its 50anniversary in November 2018. The Federation is the peak body for recreational scuba divers in South Australia. It is an association of scuba diving clubs and individuals from across the State.

The Federation was first formed in 1968 due to the Government wanting to force regulations on the sporting body. This was successfully stopped, on the condition that the sport self-regulate, with an acceptable set of rules and regulations. The result was the Scuba Divers Association incorporating the Scuba Instructors Association (SDA). 

November 2019 will see the launch of the inaugural SA Scuba Week, which will incorporate a number of events, culminating in the Splash Ball (renamed again).  Further information can be found here.

There is still much work to be done on a continuing basis to protect the marine environment and the rights of scuba divers. We can only do this well with the support of the majority of divers.
