About this event

The Department for Education published a new edition of its statutory guidance Working Together to Safeguard Children in December 2023, replacing the previous 2018 version. Working Together is central to delivering on the Government’s strategy ‘Stable homes, Built on Love’ which outlines the Government’s commitment to support every child to grow up in a safe, stable and loving home.

Alongside this publication, the Government also published the following:

· An updated Working Together Statutory Framework (statute)


· Children’s Social Care National Framework


· Guidance on Improving Practice with Children, Young People and Families


This session will provide an overview of the updates of Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023) and the new Children’s Social Care National Framework. Outlining responsibilities for all professionals and what this means for partners.
