Tufting is the art of making rugs by hand using a machine known as a tufting gun. With a bit of cloth, a frame and some yarn, it’s all you’ll need to create the rug of your dreams! Easy to learn and fun to do, tufting is a wonderful creative activity no matter your experience level.
This 6-hour workshop covers the whole rugmaking process from start to finish. You'll learn how to use a tufting gun, trim and finish your piece, and leave with your very own 40x40cm handmade rug. Choose from our selection of designs or feel free to suggest your own! All materials and equipment are provided, and your organiser from Huffletuft Studio will be on hand to guide you throughout.
