Rewilding Denmarkfield Bird Safari

Grab your binoculars for a morning of bird watching in this local rewilding project. The safari will be led by Mike, who has been monitoring the bird life at Rewilding Denmarkfield for three years, and has a wealth of knowledge about the resident species.

While this rewilding project is still new, there has been a dramatic increase in the numbers of birds on site over the past three years. There are 65 different bird species which have now been identified on the site, 16 of which are red-listed. During the safari, you can learn more about the work being done at Rewilding Denmarkfield to restore native habitats.

Whether you're a seasoned bird watcher or just starting out, this Bird Safari is perfect for nature enthusiasts of all levels. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with nature and discover the beauty of Denmarkfield.
