As you approach the path leading to Lallybroch, you can’t help but feel your heart surge with emotion. The hauntingly beautiful melody of “Sing me a song of a lass that is gone” from the TV show Outlander fills the air, surrounding you in a cocoon of nostalgia. Each note resonates with the deep connection you’ve formed with this enchanting world, and it’s as if Jamie is walking beside you, his presence with you every step you take.

The lush greenery of the Scottish Highlands envelops you, its rich colors and textures painting a vivid backdrop. The scent of heather dances on the breeze, carrying with it a sense of timeless romance. The babbling stream that meanders alongside the path adds a soothing rhythm to your footsteps, and the distant call of birds weaves a natural melody into the soundtrack of this moment.

It’s not just a visit; it’s a soul-stirring experience that lingers long after you’ve left. The romance of the Highlands, and the emotional journey you’re embarking on are all invitations for others to join you in this extraordinary adventure.

“Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul she sailed on a day
Over the sea to Skye

Billow and breeze, islands and seas
Mountains of rain and sun
All that was good, all that was fair
All that was me is gone”

From the Skye Boat Song with
– Lyrics by Bear McCreary
