About this event

The lessons would occur weekly and would cover all steps in approaching a painting. Group lessons are focused on portrait painting. However, one to one lessons will mould to the student's requirements, personal preferences, favourite subject and medium.

The student is free to work in any medium and will be guided throughout the process.The purpose is to create a community and a space for development in terms of skills and perception of art, allowing the student to work in a relaxed and friendly environment.

Classes occur on a weekly basis.

Dorian is a Member of the British Royal Society of Miniature Painters, patroned by Prince Charles. He appeared on shows

He is the winner of the most prestigious award in the world when it comes to miniature paintings and an award that can be won only once in a life-time: The Gold Memorial Bowl, awarded by the Royal Society of Miniature Painters in London.

The Artist appeared on TV shows such as Portrait Artist of the year, broadcasted on Sky, or Portrait Artist of the Week, painting notable figures such as actor Matthew Goode, DJ Trevor Nelson MBE or BBC Broadcaster Nihal Arthanayake.

Philip Mould OBE (International Art Dealer, Portrait specialist and Creator of the BBC Fake or Fortune TV Series) awarded Dorian with the L. Cornelissen & Son Award at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters, with the mention "his skill will be taking over".

Dorian's portraiture work has been exhibited in venues such as the Royal Scottish Academy, The Mall Galleries, Bankside Hotel, Collyer Bristow gallery and in various other venues, both national and international.
