Pilates

is a holistic and low-impact exercise method that focuses on strengthening the core muscles, improving flexibility, and enhancing overall body awareness. Developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century, this fitness system emphasizes controlled movements, precise alignment, and mindful breathing. Pilates exercises can be performed on a mat, standing or using equipment, to target specific muscle groups. It's an effective way to build core strength, improve posture, and promote a balanced and toned physique while minimizing the risk of injury. Pilates is suitable for people of all fitness levels and can be customized to meet individual needs and goals.

In my Pilates classes I offer options with props, also variations for beginners and advanced for most of the exercises.

As equipment you will need a mat, optional a small ball and weights.

Wear comfortable clothes and avoid having a heavy meal before class.
