Parent Workshop: Developing Independence

Details:

• Join this webinar series which consists of 4 group video calls with other parents
• The group calls are led by an Occupational Therapist
• Calls take place on Friday 6th, 13th, 20th and 27th Septemeber from 10-11am
• Your confirmation email will include a Microsoft Teams link which you will use to join each session.
  
  Webinar series aims:
• To introduce factors that may impact on your child's independence in daily activities like toothbrushing, washing and dressing.
• To identify a goal that you want to work on with your child.
• To introduce general strategies to support your child to work towards their goal.
• To share ideas and learn from other parents/carers and an occupational therapist.
• To give you a chance to trial strategies and then feedback to the group about how things are going.
• Please note, this webinar series does not provide support around behaviours that challenge.

Important information:

• By booking a ticket for the first date, your place will be confirmed for all 4 group video calls.
• This webinar is for residents of the London borough of Hackney only. Please do not book a ticket if you do not live in Hackney.
