About this event

  • 1 hour 30 minutes

Find out why we're planting fruit trees, hedges, shelterbelts, coppices and tree hay on the farm. This tour will focus on Oakbrook Orchard, and also take in other new plantings across the farm. Learn about the benefits of trees to the cattle, the vegetables, the soil and wildlife. Hear about some of the challenges we've encountered and see some of the solutions we're working on.

This is a free tour offered as part of the national Agroforestry Open Weekend.

Everyone welcome. You'll need to be able to manage farm tracks, grassy fields and some steep slopes. Kids are welcome to play in our Haven Field, with adult supervision.
