The National Association of Women in Construction is an international not-for-profit association dedicated to the advancement of women in the construction industry. Nonetheless, we’re interested in improving and creating industry-wide change, which requires the involvement of everyone! We would love to welcome you to join us for a networking breakfast, hosted in collaboration with Leeds College of Building.
There will be tea, coffee, pastries and a chance to network following a presentation from the Yorkshire committee. The presentation will open the floor to a range of discussions, but will look closely at the following question:
Why is Women’s PPE provision still not an obligation within the Construction industry? Exploring their work to support women in the industry and their current PPE campaign, looking at what has been achieved to date, and what still needs to be done - this will be an opportunity to be involved in difficult, but very needed, conversations which are now being lobbied politically.
